ROMIL LIMSON

Board Member

Romil Limson of Ninkasi Siberians (AKC Registered), resides in Cochranton, Pennsylvania with his wife Laura Anderson. Romil was introduced to running sled dogs in 2007 on a ‘date’ with Laura. Born in the Philippines, the last thing Romil ever expected to do in his life was run a dog sled team or show Siberian Huskies. However, it was at that moment behind a team in the New Jersey Pinelands that the unexpected turned to a passion both for the beauty of a working dog and for the exhilaration of riding the runners of a dog sled. Over the following years, Romil has actively shown, raced, and bred Siberians. Romil and Laura have finished multiple dogs with dual titles of champion and sled dog. He and his wife have worked to create programs for the Girl Scouts to educate them on the care and training of sled dogs and has dedicated themselves to the sport of pure-bred dogs. They have received the prestigious SHCA working showing award in 2016, 2017, and 2018. While it is not easy to work full time jobs and manage the training, care, racing, showing, and raising litters of dogs, this couple enjoys every moment spent in the sport. Win or lose, it has always been about seeing the dogs happy.
